Chopard has a sports watch whose dial bears a fine radiating texture with a rather romantic inspiration: the iris of an eagle's eye. The watch is called the Alpine Eagle.

Its story began with a 1980 piece, reinterpreted by the brand's co-president Karl-Friedrich Scheufele together with his young son. The whole collection takes the Alpine eagle as its inspiration: circling high in the sky, the eagle has some of the sharpest vision in the animal world, able to lock precisely onto the faintest movement on the ground from a great height. That ring of texture on the dial pays homage to those eyes. Even the case is made of Chopard's own more sustainable, hard-wearing Lucent Steel.

The eagle is a supreme hunter precisely because of those eyes, seeing far and seeing fine. It takes in the whole scene while missing no key detail. This is, in fact, the highest state of all "seeing": a macro view together with a micro sharpness.

Those who make images and create things pursue exactly such "eagle eyes." In the same scene, an ordinary person sees a general impression, while a trained eye catches the direction of the light, the tension of the composition, a fleeting expression, the details others overlook that are the most moving of all. Only what is seen can be captured, and made. The camera records what the eye already noticed; the seeing comes first, and everything good in the final image follows from that first, sharper act of attention.

What Zenz Twenty Studio believes in is that same "eagle's eye": good imagery grows from a pair of eyes sharper and more attentive than others. What we do is capture for our clients the moments and details that are easily missed yet genuinely moving, like the eagle eyes the Alpine Eagle honours, seeing far, and seeing fine.
